Welcome to Alpine First Aid. We are a new company set up to be able to meet the needs of our customers. All of our instructors are experienced in the field of first aid, most have many years working in the field and all have years of teaching in the adult and youth market.

Most of our instructors also work as paramedics with BC Ambulance in our community, allowing them to draw on their years of experience when teaching our courses.

We feature courses from different providers, allowing us to offer the best matched course to our customers.

Our courses can be done in your work site, our class space or "in the field" where you work. We feature classes that are adapted to your field of work, ensuring the course is made relevant to your interest.

Different levels of courses are offered, from basic CPR and workplace first aid right up to entry level paramedic courses. Specialty courses are also available, if you don't see what you are looking for please contact us to see if we can set up something for your specific needs. Some of the specialty courses include; Safe Boating, Survival courses, Safety courses etc. We also have a large network in the Safety, OHS and Adult Education fields and may be able to help you find a course to meet your needs.

All the workplace courses are available, from the level 1, Transportation Endorsement, level 2 and 3 right up to level 3 and EMR. Courses are flexible and are available through a variety of formats including evenings, weekends and weekday courses.

All courses are available as a contract to a specific worksite or employer and we can arrange to do a course for your site, making the course fit around your schedule and around your specific needs.

Instructors

Paul Gurr

Paul has over 20 years experience as an instructor in first aid and over 25 as a part time paramedic. With many years of community involvement Paul is in a unique position to be able to offer a balanced course with lots of experience and a wealth of teaching experience. Passionate in his teaching Paul is also an instructor trainer with most of the courses he teaches.

Gerry Campbell

Gerry has many years with BC Ambulance as a part time and full time paramedic. With many years experience teaching first aid and paramedic courses Gerry is able to share his experience with a class in a way that encourages all to get involved in the class. An avid mountain biker, and with several years involvement with cave rescue Gerry is also able to show many different ways to get the job done and can help students think there way through first aid problems.

Mel Rodgers

Mel has been a first aid attendant for many years, with a broad spectrum of experience ranging from logging to construction. As a part time paramedic and volunteer with search and rescue he is able to draw on years of in the field experience.
